Who am I, really?

I was born and raised in Whippany, NJ—a small town just a short train ride from New York City. As the child of two elementary school teachers, a love of learning is practically in my DNA. From a young age, I was captivated by stories. Whether I was watching magical Broadway shows in the city or sneaking fantasy novels in the back of class, little Ava was always chasing a good story.

Currently, I’m studying Advertising and Creative Writing at James Madison University. You can typically find me curled up with a good book on The Quad or giving a prospective student a tour with Student Ambassadors!
