SMAD Club Presidency

This past year, I have had the privilege of serving as president of JMU's SMAD (School of Media Arts & Design) Club, alongside my co-president and dear friend Anna Hansohn.

SMAD Club is a student-run academic organization with a mission of fostering connections within the Media Arts & Design program through both social and educational events. In my role as president, I’ve had the opportunity to strengthen my leadership and interpersonal skills while leading our executive team (Mallory Beemus, John Hess, Sophie Wright, Audrey Ridder, Bella Warrick, Joy Suh). It’s been truly rewarding to see the club grow, and I’m excited for the continued success and impact it will have in the future.

I’ve enjoyed serving my community and helping SMAD students find their footing in such a wonderful program. As I end my presidency, I’m thankful for the opportunity to grow and lead such a great group!
