Student Ambassadors Leadership

As the semester comes to a close, I wanted to reflect on the leadership positions I’ve held with JMU Student Ambassadors !

In the fall, I was on our Membership Board and worked on a team with other ambassadors to brainstorm our new member advertising campaign, plan and conduct interviews, and select our final new member class. I learned the importance of confidentiality, organization and communication.

In the spring, I was a Spocial (Spirit and Social!) Committee Head and planned our spring retreat, formal, awards ceremony, and 10 other community events. I was honored to give my time back to ambassadors and create events that were inclusive, welcoming, and fun. This role refined my event planning, graphic design, collaboration and budgeting skills.
